Goa, August 13, 2024 – The General Administration Department of the Government of Goa has issued an official order revising the daily tariffs for accommodation at Goa Bhavan, Mumbai. The revised rates are effective from August 13, 2024, and will apply until further notice.
The new tariff structure is as follows:
- For A/C Rooms (per room per day for double occupancy + extra mattress when required):
- Officers/Officials of the Government of Goa, Chairpersons, GPSC/Public Sector Undertakings, Statutory Bodies on official duty: Rs. 1,000/-
- Officers/Officials of the Central Government stationed in Goa on official duty: Rs. 1,000/-
- Accredited Journalists on official duty: Rs. 1,000/-
- Members of Parliament, MLAs, Ex-MPs, Ex-MLAs: Rs. 1,000/-
- Others (Private Persons): Rs. 1,000/-
- Extra Mattress for A/C Double Room: Rs. 300/-
- For Dormitory Accommodation (per head per day):
- For all categories listed above: Rs. 400/-
- Students on study tour: Rs. 400/-
This order supersedes previous orders and was issued with the concurrence of the Finance (Expenditure) Department. The new tariffs aim to standardize the accommodation rates for various categories of individuals using the Goa Bhavan facilities in Mumbai.
The revised rates reflect the government’s efforts to maintain fiscal responsibility while providing necessary facilities for government officials, public representatives, journalists, and others who utilize Goa Bhavan for official and personal purposes.
