Panaji, 14th June 2024 – The Goa Legislature Secretariat has issued a notification today under the authority of the Governor of Goa, P. S. Sreedharan Pillai. As per the notification, the Governor has exercised the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India to summon the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa.
The Assembly is scheduled to meet at the Assembly Hall in Porvorim, Goa, on 15th July 2024 at 11:30 a.m. This session is called to address various legislative matters and other issues pertinent to the state.
The notification was officially signed by the Governor and the Secretary of the Goa Legislature Secretariat, Namrata Ulman, and was released from Raj Bhavan in Goa.
