Panaji, 14th June 2024 – Mr. Vishwajeet Rane, the Minister for Town and Country Planning (TCP) and Health for the State of Goa, conducted a significant meeting with officials from the Goa State Urban Development Agency (GSUDA) to review the progress of several key projects in the Municipality of Mormugao. A major point of discussion was the Vaddem Lake project. With the successful completion of phase 1, the meeting focused on the upcoming phase 2 and future development plans.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Transport, Industries, Panchayati Raj, Shri Mauvin Godinho, Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, Director of Municipal Administration Brijesh Manerkar, and other key officials from the Urban Development sector.

Mr. Rane emphasized the importance of exploring further development opportunities within the municipality to enhance the welfare of the local population. The discussions reaffirmed the commitment to sustainable development and improving the quality of life for the residents of Mormugao.

The meeting highlighted the government’s dedication to expediting ongoing projects and initiating new ones for the overall progress and development of the region.
