Panaji – The Backyard of Secretariat Complex turned into a Scrapyard of unused Cars is a reflection of Collapsed Administration. These vehicles gathering dust block prime space in precinct of Assembly Complex compelling visitors to park their vehicles outside & walk a long distance stated Congress Social Media Incharge Divya Kumar.
Releasing a video of various vehicles gathering dust in the compound of Secretariat Complex, Divya Kumar alleged that BJP Government wants to cause inconvenience to public.
We urge Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to ensure all these vehicles are removed & space is created for parking vehicles of those attending upcoming Legislative Assembly Session. Government must also act on unused Cars parked across Goa blocking prime parking spots & causing inconvenience to public, said Divya Kumar.
People coming to watch Assembly proceedings including Journalists, Students, Senior Citizens as well as the Staff of MLA’s face lot of inconvenience due to lack of Parking Space and are forced to park their vehicles at a far away distance and walk a long way, said Divya Kumar.
Porvorim Residents also face inconvenience due to vehicles parked on internal roads by those coming to watch Assembly. There are frequent traffic jams causing hindrance to emergency service vehicles like Ambulance, Fire Brigades etc., stated Divya Kumar.
I hope better sense will prevail and Government will take action and remove all scrap vehicles from the compound of Secretariat Complex, Divya Kumar said.
