Goa Cricket Association managing committee has kept the suspension of Dr Ketan Bhatikar on hold.
Congratulating GCA Secretary Rohan Desai and the Managing Committee, Association’s former President Dr Shekar Salkar has said that the suspension had no support from the managing committee.
Salkar said “I congratulate Secretary Rohan and GCA managing committee to keep the suspension of Dr Ketan Bhatikar on hold.
Desai had said that Dr Bhatikar as a Medical Director has done his responsibility excellently well and he should reply to the show cause notice and he will be given a chance at the General Body.
The managing committee of the Goa Cricket Association has said that it strongly stands with Dr Bhatikar. The committee has also said that there is no balance sheet that has Dr Bhatikar’s name.
The committee had decided to give chance to Dr Bhatikar through Show Cause notice.
Salkar said that the stand which he took was strongly supported by all the members of the Managing Committee except President Vipul Phadke which means that he has no support of the committee.
