Mauvin Godinho, spearheaded the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) at Mantralaya, Porvorim.
The first MoU was signed between the Department of State Tax, Government of Goa, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). This collaborative agreement aims to foster cooperation and coordination in various areas, including capacity building, research, policy assistance, consultancy, and other vital activities within Goa. The MoU emphasizes the need for technical support and assistance in advancing the implementation of GST.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant presided over another MoU signing ceremony, this time between the Government of Goa and One97 Communications Ltd. This agreement focuses on the integration of digital and cashless payment technology in Goa, paving the way for a more convenient and efficient payment ecosystem. In yet another remarkable development, the Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce, Government of Goa, and the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro & Small Enterprises entered into an MoU under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and Industries Minister Shri. Mauvin Godinho. This agreement emphasizes the importance of supporting micro and small enterprises, ensuring their growth and sustainability in Goa. It aims to provide credit guarantee facilities and other essential assistance to empower these enterprises, ultimately fostering economic development and entrepreneurship in the state.
