AAP MLA Capt. Venzy Viegas has successfully intervened in two significant issues affecting farmers and fishermen in Goa. Following a delegation of farmers to the CM, the order demanding a refund of ₹6,000 from farmers under the PM Kisan Scheme has been revoked, with the CM promising to address the matter with the Central Ministry.
Capt. Venzy Viegas also met with the CM alongside Colva fishermen, resulting in a reduction of fish drying platform renewal fees from ₹3,000 to ₹1,000. His proactive efforts demonstrate his commitment to fighting for the rights of these communities.
