The Ministry of Tourism is organizing “Incredible India”. Launched the Visit India 2023 campaign to provide a comprehensive overview of India’s diverse tourism offerings and the country’s commitment to sustainable tourism practices. The India Pavilion will showcase India’s rich cultural and natural heritage, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites, wildlife sanctuaries and spiritual heritage sites.
The event will strengthen the Ministry of Tourism’s engagement with the Middle East and North Africa tourism industry, including travel agents, tour operators, airlines and media representatives. The delegation will participate in various networking events, one-to-one meetings and media interactions to position India as a leading tourism destination and forge partnerships with industry stakeholders.

The Government of India is committed to strengthen the tourism infrastructure of the country and promote India as a world class tourist destination.
The Indian Pavilion at the Arabian Travel Mart 2023 was inaugurated on 1st May by the Ambassador of India to the UAE, H.E. Sunjay Sudhir did it. On this occasion, Senior Economic Advisor to the Government of India, Ministry of Tourism Shri Gyan Bhushan, Tourism Minister of Puducherry Shri K.K. Lakshminarayana Kannan, Tourism Minister of Goa Shri Rohan KHAUNTE and Shri Arun Srivastava, Deputy Director General, Union Ministry of Tourism were present.
More than 65 State Tourism Departments/UTs, tour operators, travel agents, representatives of hotel chains and airlines from India are participating in Arabian Travel Mart 2023 Dubai. This will increase the number of people coming to India for tourism from the Middle East region. It will also provide an opportunity to the stakeholders of the Indian tourism industry to connect with the global travel trade.
Security of tourists is a major challenge. The Ministry of Tourism has a 24×7 toll-free multilingual tourist helpline in 12 languages apart from Hindi and English. The tourist helpline is operational in 10 international languages – Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Under this, the existing toll free number 1800111363 or short code 1363 is available to dial in India. Through this, assistance is provided to tourists in times of difficulty while traveling in India. If necessary the concerned authorities are also alerted.
