A Sensational case was reported at Pernem P.S. wherein 02 accused person came on Motor Cycle in which one of the accused person entered the house of the minor boy at Korgao who is 1 ½ year old and try to kidnapped the minor boy from the lawful custody of his grandfather and was rushing towards the 2nd accused who was ready on Motor Cycle and was ready to fled away along with the 1st accused and minor Boy. However Grand Father and another housemates raises their voice due to which neighbors gathered and rescued kidnapped minor boy and detained the accused no. 1, during this commission 2nd accused fled away from the spot on Motor Cycle.
Pernem Police also reached at the spot and took the custody of accused person.
an FIR under sections 137 (2) r/w 3 (5) of BNS 2023 and Sec 8 of Goa Children’s Act was registered at Pernem Police Station and investigation was taken up.
During the couse of investigation the arrested accused persons disclosed the name of Mr. Nikesh Chari who is resident of same village i.e. Korgao Pernem Goa and working as IRBn Police Costable presently attached at Ribandar Camp.
Police took the custody of IRBn Police Constable Mr. Nikesh Chari and placed him under arrest . Police have also attached Motorcycle bearing no. MH-07-M-4271 used in the Crime and Car bearing No.MH-43-V-9842 which was also a part of offence.
Both the accused persons confessed of having committed the offence . 1st accused Mr. Sanjay Baburo Narvekar Age 47yrs r/o Shiroda Vengurla Maharashtra was working as a life guard .
Police are interrogating both the accused to find out exact motive of this crime.
A report will be submitted against the accused IRBn P.C. Nikesh Chari for appropriate disciplinary action. More sections will be added as the investigation progress.
