FDA officials undertaking their regular inspection found a food preparation unit engaged in supplying food to Railway( Rajdhani) M/s Brandavan Foods located at Rawanfond Margao to be operating in unhygienic and without FSSAI registration. The same unit was inspected earlier and the Food Business Operator was directed to comply with the hygiene norms; however during their re-inspection today observed operating in the same unhygienic conditions.
The FBOs have been directed to close operation and a case will also be filed against the owners for flouting the hygiene norms.
