Minister for Archaeology, Shri. Subhash Phal Dessai carried out Joint Inspection along with MLA Mormugao, Shri. Sankalp Amonkar, Archaeology Director, Shri. Nilesh Faldessai, MPT Officials, Taluka Officials, Archaeology Dept official at the Site of Protected Monument of Mormugao fort in Headland Sada.
The issue of access to the heritage structure of Vice-regal palace located under MPT property was discussed with MPT officials in presence of local MLA, Shri. Sankalp Amonkar and council members of MMC. Minister Gave instructions to the Archaeology Department to initiate communication with MPT to handover the palace for restoration.
