Goa wins 1st place in the State Food Safety Index, for 5th consecutive time, in the small States category, announced by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.
Awards were presented at a special function organised by FSSAI at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Union Health Minister, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in the distinguished presence of Hon. Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Prof. S. P. Baghel, on the occasion of World Food Safety day. Director, FDA-GOA, Smt. Jyoti Sardesai received the Award.
