Union Minister of State for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences ( Independent Charge ) Prime Minister’s Office Minister of State for Personnel , Public Grievances , Pensions , Atomic Energy and Space Dr. Jitendra Singh today as the head of a high – level official Indian delegation _ _ He left for London on a day – long visit where he is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with his counterparts in the United Kingdom government as well as with the Indian diaspora , start – ups and academia .
The visit assumes significance as it is taking place in the United Kingdom for the first time after the new government headed by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak came to power .
